Old playgrounds in Singapore

星期二特写 Tuesday Report is covering yesterday's provision shop and playgrounds.
<<遗失的美好>> (literally forgotten-memories) talks about how old provision shops are surviving
but facing extinction in our generation.

It was heartwarming to see old proprietors manning the provision shops. Daddy has grown up calling them mama-shops, and these olden day provision shops enjoys good rapport in the neighbourhood, and are known to provide value-added service. Look at Tuesday Report Milo-album.

Next Tue at 2230, 星期二特写 will be featuring yesterday's toys and playgrounds.

If you are into in old playgrounds, we recommend that you drop by our own Project Old Playground. Our kids had a lot of fun "searching and documenting" old Playgrounds in Singapore.

Not sure how long these playgrounds will last, but most of them are poorly maintained and might be dismantle within the next decade.
