Singapore Philatelic Museum - stamps are Fun

After taking the new Circle Line from Stadium to Bras Basah,
we went over to Singapore Philatelic Museum.
("Philatelic" is the study or collection of stamps, and related topics)

Look at the big Stamp above, who says collecting Stamps is boring?

Daddy cannot resist asking the boys to role-play kopi-tiam uncle and barber :-p

Video : We visited someone's old five-foot-way shophouses

We saw Lion Dance costumes, logs, and some oldies Marble table and chair set.
(definitely not from Ikea)

Stamps showcasing 15Feb occupation by Japan. Suffering.

We block the stairway for a quick pose. Sorry for the inconvenience :)
Boys posing behind a hugh stamp.

2010 - stamps celebrating Zodiac year of Tiger. Wow (roar!)

Video : Busy at work, or disturbing the knobs?

More exhibits

Small creative corner.

After all the playing and drawing, little Postman got down to work.
Lee Brothers mean business !!

More posing..Yi was running here and there, trying to hide from Daddy
(cannot leave this boy alone for 5 second, he will be up to some mischief again)

Before we went down Bras Basah station, Daddy suggested
we pose at Singapore Arts Museum

End us we miss the last train at 1800.
So we grab a cab back to Stadium MRT, for our car :(

Not bad for a FUN fill day.
Thanks to the nice people at ILoveMuseums for organising
all these interesting fringe activities.

Feel free to visit their member museums or galleries.

  1. Aww! I went there too!

Every year my boyfriend and I go to a Museum on National Day.

Basically cos most museums are free entry that day. :P

You should do that cos National Museum has really good hands on activity for kids.
